Friday Night News Special
West Texas A&M Tight End Kolo Kapanui may be looked at as a possible convert to the offensive line.
Several, I repeat, several established writers and insiders are saying that WR Donnie Avery could go as high as the end of the first round. Avery hails from Houston. He saw his stock increase dramatically after the season. He fronts as a returner also. We have him going in the early third in our latest mock draft but have had him as high as the middle of the second round. We did however, place Avery as the 6th best WR on our final rankings list, ahead of Early Doucet, Malcolm Kelly, Jordy Nelson, Andre Caldwell, and others.
We have heard that S Thomas DeCoud (pronounced DAY-koo) is rising back up the boards. We don't agree with it and contacted one writer from the Mercury News in Silicon Valley to find out that DeCoud could slide into the 5th round. We look at him as a third or fourth rounder.
Colorado LB Jordon Dizon will go a lot higher than expected.
S Kenny Phillips will not fall out of the first round. Several teams would love to have him on their roster.
QB Brian Brohm may actually go after Joe Flacco and Chad Henne. I am almost willing to bet on this.
Well, we are 16 and 1/2 hours away from the NFL Draft. Tune back in tomorrow morning for news and insider updates as they break.
